Assistant Child Development Practitioner

32.5 hours per week, term time plus 5 days
Scale 3, point 14-17 (£17,681-£18,672 FTE).

The Governing Body seek to appoint an experienced practitioner to deliver the day to day running of a Thrive provision

The successful applicants will:

• Support the development, social and emotional and behavioural needs of pupils to improve access to learning;
• have knowledge of children’s social and emotional development;
• have experience of working with children and young people with challenging behaviour;
• have enthusiasm, motivation and passion for supporting children to achieve their best;
• be able to work as a member of a team, understanding their role and associated responsibilities;
• be able to remain positive under challenging circumstances;
• be willing to actively contribute to the wider life of the school.
• Be caring and willing to go the extra-mile

The posts are initially fixed for one academic year.
