A new opportunity has arisen for an experienced and highly skilled Assistant Director to join our charity.
This role has been specifically created to play a key role in the charity’s organisational growth, modernisation and transformation. With a focus on Land & Property, you will lead, shape and drive improvements in the charity’s strategic estate management strategy and oversee key developments and capital projects. You will also contribute significantly to the broader developments to position the charity with the right structures, ways of working and leadership to make the best use of its resources, its time, and its people.
We are looking for a strategic thinker, who can form strong, collaborative relationship while driving transformation. You will have a successful track record, with at least 7 years’ experience within a senior leadership position. Knowledge of charity governance is preferable but not essential. Commercial acumen and highly effective communication and interpersonal skills are also a must. We need someone who can balance an emotionally intelligent leadership style with integrity and professionalism and the focus to get the job done.
Location: Hybrid working with a base at the Estate Office (Greatham, Hartlepool), and regular travel to other charity properties in the North East.
Hours: 35 hours per week (Monday – Friday. 09:00 – 17:00)
