The post holder will assist the Facilities Officer and be accountable for the provision of an effective facilities management service to the Aycliffe Secure Unit and have supervisory responsibility for support staff such as caretaking and cleaning.

The post holder will in conjunction with the on site Facilities Officer provide an efficient, effective Facilities Management service to ensure the Aycliffe Secure Unit operates in accordance with service business needs, statutory requirements placed upon the Council and to the agreed maintenance standards, providing a key link between the Aycliffe Centre Management Team, the Building Users, Maintenance Staff and FM Managers

Required: Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in relevant discipline

It is anticipated that interviews will be held week commencing 17th December 2018 and the process is likely to include input from a young persons panel representing particular service requirements.

The post will be based at Aycliffe Secure Centre which is a controlled Secure environment. Successful applicants will be required to attend a site visit prior to the interview.
