The Governors of this vibrant and successful school are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed and highly motivated person for the post of Attendance Officer. The successful candidate will be required to maintain and improve pupil attendance and support pupils and their families to this end. Candidates should have a level 4 qualification in a relevant area, plus 5 GCSE’s at A*-C, including English and Maths and a full driving licence or access to means of mobility support.

Wellfield was judged ‘Good’ by Ofsted in June 2018.
As part of BSF the school has undergone an £8.5 million refurbishment so facilities are state of the art. Situated only 8 miles to the east of Durham City the school is well located for access to the A19 and A1(M). It is also within comfortable driving distance of affordable housing and areas of outstanding natural beauty.

Essential Qualifications:
• Level 4 qualification in relevant area

• Good ICT skills
