We are looking to recruit a number of enthusiastic and committed seasonal Beach Lifeguard Supervisors who will be welcomed by our experienced Beach Lifeguard Team. We provide beach safety advice, observation and supervision of beach users on the towns lifeguard patrolled beaches during the school summer holidays, including weekends
Whilst on duty it is essential that you remain alert and professional at all times in order to provide constant surveillance of all activities in the lifeguard patrolled zone and adjacent areas of the beach. In the event of an emergency, you will need to be relied on, be able to remain calm, manage the situation with confidence and be capable of correctly administering any necessary first aid treatment.
Beach Lifeguard Supervisors are required to supervise the Beach Lifeguards on duty and ensuring the delivery of a beach lifeguard service to the highest of standards. Supervisors need to be good communicators and be able to liaise with the emergency services, such as the UK Coastguard.
Candidates must hold a current Royal Lifesaving Society (RLSS) National Vocational Beach Lifeguard Qualification. To demonstrate good swimming ability, you will be required to undertake a pool swim of 400 metres, which must be achieved in 8 minutes or under
