Hope Wood Academy is an all age special academy in Easington, Co Durham. It is part of the Ascent Academies Trust, which comprises five special academies in the North East. As part of the staff team you will play a key role in the achievement and development of students.
Post: Behaviour Support Manager
Grade: Scale 6: PT26 – PT28 (actual salary £20,011 - £21,351)
Hours/ Weeks: 37 hours per week, Term time only 39 weeks
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading on behaviour management across the academy, in addition to undertaking a role of deputy DSL for the academy. Candidates will have experience of working with pupils with complex SEN, designing and implementing intervention strategies and possess up to date knowledge and understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures. Candidates will possess 5 x GCSE A*-C or equivalent in Maths and English and possess an NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent.
