BEHAVIOUR AND INTERVENTION ASSISTANT
SECONDARY ALTERNATIVE PROVISION CENTRE
We are looking for a Behaviour and Intervention Assistant to work as part of a small Alternative Provision department which provides an interesting and engaging curriculum for a cohort of pupils. You will be working with a group of pupils who thrive in an environment where they are valued and encouraged to achieve in an alternative setting to traditional school. Within a separate facility you will work alongside to support pupils to achieve qualifications and to prepare themselves for their future.
Your ability to build relationships with young people who may challenge you will be key to success in this role. You will need to be energetic, enthusiastic, creative and resilient, and at all times and in all situations demonstrate to the young people that they are valued and valuable. You will be based at our Josephine Butler Secondary Campus in Ashington.
