Mickley First School is a happy and ambitious first school with a caring and friendly ethos. We currently have a vacancy for a Wrap Around Care Assistant to join our committed team from November 2016. This is an exciting role at the heart of the school and the successful candidate will play a key part in ensuring that every child is able to meet their full potential. You should be enthusiastic, energetic, passionate about helping every child achieve, have strong IT skills, a commitment to team work and be able to communicate well with adults and young children. The initial hours will be Monday to Friday 7.30am to 9am and Monday to Friday 3pm to 6pm.
Candidates should have experience of working in a school or nursery. Candidates may apply for this job in conjunction with the Nursery asst post currently advertised. Please indicate this on your application form.
This post is a variable hours contract between 12 and 30 hours initially for 21.5per week.
Successful applicants will receive the Northumberland Living Wage Supplement in addition to their basic salary.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to visit the school prior to interview.
