Sunderland Care and Support is a local authority trading company owned by Sunderland City Council, which provides a wide range of services to support vulnerable adults and children to lead the lives they choose.

You will be working within the Home Improvement Agency providing a service assisting our customers to maintain, repair or adapt their homes
You must have at least 3 years’ experience of working in the construction industry. The suitable candidate must be qualified to HNC in construction or equivalent and have a good working knowledge of property repair/renovation and adaptation, excellent communication and analytical skills. The role will involve carrying out detailed property surveys, identifying building defects, giving technical advice, preparing schedules of work, compiling estimates, project management, authorising interim and final payments.
