We have some exciting Business Administration apprenticeship opportunities available for individuals who are motivated and enthusiastic. We have a number of vacancies delivering support across a variety of services and locations across our borough.

Administration is a great starting point to provide you with the foundations for your career. As a Business Administration Apprentice you will gain valuable and varied experience, knowledge and behaviours that can be applied across the Council. You will support and engage with internal and external customers, contribute to adding value, digitalisation and virtual support, whilst being part of a professional administration community. Duties will vary depending on which team you work in, but may include updating and maintaining records, minute taking of meetings, reception and telephone services, contacting clients, marketing activities and mail services.

Essential Requirements:
All candidates are required to meet the essential requirements set out below. Please address in your application how you meet the following:

• Minimum 5 GCSEs Grade C/4 or above or equivalent Level 2 qualifications (must include English & Maths)
• Experience working as part of a team (this could be in a sporting, educational, work or social setting) as well as demonstrating use of own initiative
• Excellent IT Skills – Microsoft Office (Word & Excel)
• Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills
• Good attention to detail

Please note: You must not hold an existing qualification in a similar subject at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship (Business Administration Level 3).

Apprenticeship Qualification:
You will be given appropriate paid time off work to attend College and work towards completion of your apprenticeship qualification.
