As an Apprentice with TVCA you will get the opportunity to be involved across the group function and support our front of house, administration, and reception requirements.

The role will involve daily general administration duties, building high-profile relationships with stakeholders, councillors, MPs, and senior business figures, servicing meeting rooms and acting as one of the first points of contact for people to the Combined Authority Group.

The successful candidate will eager to learn, have the ability to communicate (face-to-face, over telephone and via email) with people from all levels across the organisation and build positive relationships. Being a team player, able to show initiative and being of smart appearance will be key.

The Apprentice will be confident to support front of house requirements such meeting and greeting VIPs and being a first point of contact for the organisation. As well as being numerate, with the ability to copy/transfer information accurately and have the ability to understand and apply regulations and written instructions.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the organisation as part of a growing team, within a new office environment and provide a positive contribution to the Group.

If you have the passion to make a lasting impact on the Tees Valley then we would like to hear from you. The most important quality that we are looking for is a drive and commitment to be the best that you can be. If you don’t meet the exact criteria, don’t worry. We want people with a desire to succeed and you may have transferrable skills that are very relevant to the role.
