Redcar & Cleveland Borough Council are pleased to announce an exciting job opportunity as a Business Administration apprentice in our Public Health department based at Belmont House, Guisborough.
The team you will be working in is the Health Improvement Team which is a very diverse and rewarding team. The team work closely with communities to improve health and wellbeing in Redcar and Cleveland and to reduce health inequalities in six key areas. Examples of the work that you will be involved in includes; bookings for Healthy Heart Checks, managing the database for Health Walks, providing a reception service for enquiries, co-ordinating newsletters and the resource library, ordering promotional material and supporting key events such as the Redcar Triathlon, Half Marathon and Klondike. The role is not entirely desk based and is varied and interesting within a supportive, enthusiastic team.
We therefore aim is to appoint an enthusiastic and capable individual who has ambition and are looking to enter a challenging and rewarding job in Local Government.

Apprenticeship opportunities are open to anyone over the age of 16 years old with no upper age limit. You will need a commitment to attend training to attain the appropriate level of functional skills (Maths, English and ICT) if these have not already been achieved.
