This is an exciting opportunity to join our ‘Outstanding’ Company and make a difference.

We are proud that Together for Children has been rated ‘Outstanding’ in a judgement by Ofsted. Together for Children works on behalf of Sunderland City Council to deliver children’s services in the city.

The successful applicant will be based within a busy team supporting our children’s social care teams. We will provide you with a structured programme of training, leading to a Business Administration level 3 qualification.

We are looking for an enthusiastic person who is keen to learn. You will have good IT skills and have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages including Word, Excel, and Outlook. You will be well organised, with good attention to detail and the ability to manage priorities. You will need to be working towards achieving a minimum of 3 GCSEs at grade 9-4, including Maths and English.

The successful candidate will gain experience of a range of administrative tasks including: -
• Producing records and documents including, emails, letters, and reports,
• Creating and maintain electronic records,
• Dealing with incoming and outgoing post,
• Administering billing and process invoices and purchase orders,
• Maintaining stationery and PPE stock,
• Dealing with customer enquires over the telephone and face to face.

Care experienced apprenticeship applicants may be supported by the provision of an extra discretionary bursary if successful
