Together for Children delivers children’s services on behalf of Sunderland City Council and works to develop modern and responsive services that make a difference for children and families in Sunderland.
We are seeking to appoint an experienced, dynamic and creative Communications, Media and Events Manager who can support us to deliver a high profile communication, engagement and events strategy to promote the successes of the company, publicise our services and manage the company’s reputation.
To be successful, you will have at least 2 year’s experience of working in a similar role. You will need to demonstrate that you can quickly build effective networks both internally and externally with critical stakeholders. Alongside this you will have excellent influencing and persuasion skills that have delivered high quality integrated communications approaches.
It goes without saying that you will be a committed, creative and passionate professional with outstanding written and verbal communication skills who thrives on working in a fast paced environment.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual who is confident working with the media, can deliver successful communications campaigns, develop inspiring publications and manage a social media presence.
