With a working community farm and cafe, ‘pre-loved’ furniture warehouse and a carpentry and upcycling workshop, all offering training and education opportunities for local people, the charity is an exciting and diverse place to work. Due to the emigration of our existing post-holder, we are now seeking an exceptional candidate to take forward Ouseburn Farm’s café and catering operations.
Working from Ouseburn Farm in Newcastle’s Ouseburn Valley, the ideal candidate will have at least three years’ experience in delivering in a customer focused food environment, with barista and menu development experience, as well as a track record in successful supervision of staff and volunteers. Our customers come first, so excellent customer service skills and a positive, professional attitude are key, as are creativity and a flexible approach.
