Hartlepool Waterfront will be developed as landmark destination with a mix of cultural, leisure and visitor attraction uses to complement the restaurants, cafes, bars and shops around Hartlepool Marina.
Working directly with the Regeneration Team the Capital Project Officer will be at the forefront of this development and involved in all aspects of this transformation.
The role will involve preparation and submission of detailed project bids to various bodies in order to secure external funding.
The post holder will act as the principal point of contact and will contribute to the establishment and management of effective partnerships with a range of key stakeholders including development partners, external, public, private and community partners and will provide professional and technical advice and expertise.
A detailed knowledge and experience of regeneration and the management and delivery of complex capital regeneration projects is essential together with knowledge and experience of the site development process including project development and design. The post requires experience of developing business cases for funding along with preparation of project briefs and the appointment and management of external consultants.
The ability to work under pressure and within tight timescales is essential to ensure project delivery.
