The ISQ aims to revitalise the historic Church Street area of Hartlepool and develop a thriving creative industries quarter based around Cleveland College of Art and Design’s new campus. The ISQ will strengthen links between the town centre and waterfront and provide modern business workspace in a supported incubation facility for creative industries
Working directly with the Regeneration Team the Capital Project Officer will be at the forefront of this development and involved in all aspects of this transformation.
The role will include preparation and submission of detailed project bids to various bodies in order to secure external funding, including liaison with external public, private and community partners; and the provision of professional and technical advice and expertise to deliver the regeneration of the Innovation and Skills Quarter.
The post holder will act as the principal point of contact and will contribute to the development of the creative industries sector within the ISQ, including the development of Film and TV Studios, and will therefore need a detailed understanding of the creative industries sector and the Film and TV production industry.
The ability to work under pressure and within tight timescales is essential to ensure project delivery.
