Further Information
Durham County Council have developed a County Durham Care Academy, which will offer free pre-employment training to people who would like to work in adult social care and will also support local care providers with recruiting care staff.

The next pre-employment training programme starts on Tuesday 23rd April 2019 and requires you to attend 2 days a week for 6 weeks. People who compete the training will have a guaranteed job interview with a local care provider.
