We are looking for a Social Worker with experience in mental health to join our enthusiastic social work team.

The successful candidate will manage a mixed caseload between 15 and 20, depending on levels of need, complexity and risk. Initiating and implementing plans for adults, you will collaborate with a range of external services to access any resources required to meet the needs you have identified.

As you work to provide a comprehensive assessment, you will benefit from a good balance of autonomy and support. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of your caseload but will always have regular supervision and the full support of your Team Manager and Senior Practitioners.

It is essential that you have a clear understanding of the Care Act and the Local Authorities statutory duties. We are committed to protecting and promoting the welfare of vulnerable adults and expect all staff to share this commitment.

Essential Criteria includes:
Degree in Social Work (or equivalent)
Candidates must be able to demonstrate the English language proficiency level required for this post.

Due to the nature of this role, it is an essential requirement of the role that the post holder has a valid driving licence and is either a car owner and able to use the car for work purposes, or has a Trust personal lease vehicle which may be used for the role. However, please note that the Trust welcomes applications from disabled people whatever their impairment and would consider making reasonable adjustments to the role, if necessary, to enable a disabled person to undertake the role.
