This exciting opportunity has arisen for two Caretakers to join the Facilities and Compliance Team on a permanent basis. The Facilities and Compliance team are part of the Property & Development section the main purpose is to monitor and manage all aspects of statutory compliance, drive upward performance and introduce robust policies and procedures to deliver service excellence and reduce risk across the business. The team has responsibility to monitor and manage performance with regards to gas and electrical safety, asbestos and legionella management, fire alarm and emergency lighting systems, fire safety, cleaning and the day to management of non-domestic premises.
The ideal person will be part of a rapid response team with the ability to undertake a variety of practical tasks from testing the operation of fire alarm systems, smoke vents and passenger lifts, to litter picking, rubbish removal, water temperature checks and, ground and minor building maintenance.
We are looking for hardworking and flexible individuals to join an excellent team and to help drive and deliver service excellence. The successful candidates will be able to work flexible hours, hold a full driving licence and have excellent customer service and communication skills. A satisfactory enhanced DBS check will be required.
