We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Caretaker/Cleaning Supervisor to join our friendly and dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have experience, preferably within a school environment and will be hardworking, self-motivated and take pride in their work. This post offers an opportunity for a highly motivated and well organised individual to make a contribution to the successful operation of our school.

You will be responsible for the security and cleanliness of the premises, general maintenance work and repairs, health and safety issues relating to the building, cleaning and porterage duties. You will be supported in your role by the school caretaker and 2 members of cleaning staff. It is essential that you are capable of regular lifting and carrying of equipment, materials and furniture. Appropriate training and support will be provided.

Five hours of this position will be cleaning duties based at Ovingham First School which is based on the same site.
