Caretaker required to start mid-September 2018 (or as soon as possible).
30 hours per week
(Monday – Friday split shift times of 7.30am – 9am, 11.40am – 1pm and 2.50pm – 6pm).
On-site, detached bungalow available with discounted occupancy charge.

The Head Teacher and Governors of Prudhoe Castle First School are seeking to recruit a flexible, enthusiastic and reliable caretaker. Good communication, interpersonal and DIY skills are essential.
You will be responsible for the security and cleanliness of the premises, general maintenance work and repairs, health and safety issues relating to the building, cleaning and porterage duties. It is essential that you are capable of regular lifting and carrying of equipment, materials and furniture.
To work in our happy and friendly school, you must be positive, hardworking and have a strong commitment to high standards of cleanliness and take pride in your work environment.
Appropriate training will be given to support the right applicant.
The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. The successful applicant will be required to obtain an Enhanced Certificate of Disclosure from the DBS and be successful against a range of other recruitment checks.
