The SEND Assessments and Review Service Area have an exciting opportunity available to recruit to a new post of Caseworker Assistant within the Team.

We are looking to appoint highly motivated and organised individuals who can work on their own initiative within a fast-paced working environment.

Candidates should be passionate about supporting the service to improve outcomes for children and young people who have special educational needs. They should be able to manage and prioritise their own workload and have the resilience and ability to realign priorities at short notice.

Candidates should have some knowledge of special educational needs practices and also have a commitment to learning new skills.

The successful candidate will support the service to ensure the smooth operation of its internal systems, records and legal timescales, build and maintain excellent communication with parents and stakeholders and support the Caseworkers within the service area to fulfil their statutory duties.

This post has been identified as suitable for flexible working which enables the post holder to work 40% of their working time away from the office
