Whitworth Park was opened in September 2012 following the amalgamation of Spennymoor School and Sixth Form Centre and Tudhoe Grange School. Both schools were highly successful serving the community of Spennymoor and the surrounding villages. This is an exciting opportunity to join our busy Catering Team. We are looking to recruit a reliable and hardworking catering assistant who will be involved in all aspects of food preparation, food service and kitchen hygiene. Composed of 1 full time and 7 part time members of staff, the catering team is committed to providing an excellent catering service for students, staff and visitors.
Hours of work: Monday to Friday 10.30am - 1.45pm

This position is paid whole time with retainer adjustments applied to periods of school closure. You will not be required to work during the school closure periods however your salary in these periods will be adjusted accordingly in line with the retainer regulations as specified in the National Joint Council (NJC) Green Book agreement.
