Kirkleatham Hall School are seeking to appoint a leader to support our children and families.

Following the retirement of our Family Support Adviser we have the ambition to grow the role even further. Working under the guidance of senior leaders, the post holder will be responsible for building excellent relationships with staff, pupils and parents. The successful candidate will be confident in communicating with all stakeholders including other professionals, verbally and in writing. A flexible approach to working will be essential, the hours of work will be determined by the role which may include earlier working, later working, weekend and school holidays. You will need to represent the school at meetings, as well as visiting parents and children at their home. A current full driving license and own car will be required.

We require an outstanding, enthusiastic person who can demonstrate a commitment to our children and their families, by supporting them to achieve. Our community is becoming more and more complex, and the support needed for families is growing. We are seeking an individual who is adaptable and creative, with a positive “can do” approach to problem solving.

The successful candidate will be highly effective, inspirational, with a strong drive and commitment to improve outcomes for children and their families with a wide range of special educational needs, including those with the most complex needs and families who are hardest to reach.
