Early Help Services in Redcar and Cleveland offers an exciting opportunity for dynamic individuals to join our integrated multi-disciplinary team to support families to access the services they need.

We are looking for an Children’s Centre Assistant to work as part of an Integrated Early Years’ Team to identify needs and provide targeted support to children and families on a range of issues including child development and school readiness; employment and training; parenting, health and home safety.

The successful candidate will have some experience of working with children and families. They will hold an NVQ Level 2 in Childcare, Community Development or relevant qualification or prepared to work towards within a specific time frame. They will have a flexible, friendly and approachable personality, with outstanding communication and organisational skills, with skills to work part of a team and on their own initiative.
