Working as part of a small but dedicated team, you will be involved in supporting children and young people with a wide range of disabilities aged 5-18 in youth work activities during our Holiday Short Breaks Provision.
If you have good understanding of the needs of children and young people with disabilities, direct experience of supporting children and young people with SEND, good communication skills, are able to be adaptable and understand safeguarding children and young people you could be the right person for the post.
You should also be enthusiastic, able to work as part of a team and independently and have a good understanding of youth work practices & delivery methods.
Sessions are delivered on a group basis and include a wide variety of activities that are planned and delivered by the sessional staff team.
Working 4.5 or 5.5 hours per session you will be required to work flexibly across a number of venues in the school holidays 12 weeks of the year - fixed term until March 2026 and this may also involve occasional weekend sessions.
