We are looking to recruit highly motivated Officers to join the Civic Enforcement Team and deliver on Stockton Councils commitment to proactively impact on and contribute to tackling environmental crime, anti social behaviour and parking enforcement. These posts will contribute to the overall aim of reducing crime and ASB, providing reassurance and increasing feelings of safety within the Borough.

As a Civic Enforcement Officer you will provide a focal point of contact within the Council to respond to incidents of anti social behaviour, environmental offences, such as littering, fly-tipping, dog fouling, abandoned and untaxed vehicles and community safety issues in the Stockton area. A focus of this role will also include parking enforcement duties. You will use a range of preventative, problem solving and enforcement methods to tackle issues identified and will be required to go out on high visibility patrols.

We would like to hear from you if you are a confident and motivated individual with a desire and commitment to work for the community by focusing your efforts and skills to help deter and disrupt ASB and environmental crime. You will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills, an ability to deal constructively with conflict and experience of working in a multi-agency environment. We are looking for individuals that are reliable, flexible; willing to take on new challenges and make a positive contribution to the Civic Enforcement Team, taking pride in their work.
