Our popular and happy school requires a class teacher to teach year 3 from January 2017 for a period of two terms. This could be a secondment opportunity for someone wishing to develop teaching skills in early KS2.
We are looking for an excellent practitioner who understands Key Stage 2 requirements and who can ensure the progress and achievement of our pupils. Experience of teaching Read Write Inc Language and Literacy would be highly beneficial, as would the ability to co-ordinate Science and Technology. A knowledge of Thinking for Learning strategies, including philosophy for children would fit well with the way we teach. Our perfect person will have a positive, cheerful and lively disposition and be keen to contribute to the work of our staff team.
