The Governors of Broom Cottages Primary and Nursery School wish to appoint a skilled, enthusiastic and motivated teacher with high expectations in their teaching practice and pupils learning.
The successful candidate will initally join the highly skilled and committed Lower Key Stage Two Team.

Applicants must be committed to raising standards across the curriculum to ensure our children reach their full potential and demonstrate teaching which is consistently good or better.

The successful candidate will:
• Have a solid and secure knowledge of the primary curriculum
• Have detailed knowledge and understanding of all forms of assessment and how this informs planning to impact on learning
• Have the ability to demonstrate excellent classroom practice
• Have high expectations of classroom behaviour
• Teach and lead a class
• Be prepared to work closely within a team
• Demonstrate flexibility and enthusiasm
• Have highly effective teaching skills
• Have high expectations of children’s achievement and progress
