North Park Primary School is a successful and friendly school. We are seeking a highly motivated professional, with the skills, enthusiasm, energy and commitment to teach in either Reception or Year 1 (depending upon recent experience). The post is temporary to cover a maternity leave.

The successful candidate will:
• Have experience of teaching in EYFS or Key Stage 1
• Have a good understanding of the teaching of phonics and phonics assessment.
• Demonstrate excellent classroom practice with high standards of teaching and learning to motivate, value and nurture all children.
• Have very high expectations of all children, and be focused on standards and progress
• Have excellent behaviour and pastoral management skills
• Be able to work well as part of a team and be willing to participate fully in all aspects of school life
