In March 2013, Oakdene was judged as outstanding in all areas by Ofsted. Our pupil numbers are growing and as a National Support School we need to build extra capacity within our current teaching teams. We would like to appoint inspirational teachers. We invite you to showcase your specialism in EYFS, KS1 or KS2 or a combination of those stages. You will be creative, forward thinking and have a talent for effective planning, teaching and assessment and a desire to work within a busy primary school. The Governing Body, children and staff of Oakdene Primary School are looking for a creative, skilled and enthusiastic teacher to join our thriving school in September 2017.

The successful applicant will:
- Be an outstanding practitioner who can deliver exciting and stimulating lessons to fire the imaginations of pupils. Be able to plan creative learning opportunities both indoors and out that inspire and challenge every learner.
- Ensure that pupils make rapid progress.

- Have a passion to make a difference, good communicator with a real ability to nurture, inspire and motivate pupils.
- Have the ability to work collaboratively and supportively with colleagues.
