Following the retirement of the current headteacher and the temporary promotion of the current deputy headteacher, the governors of this successful junior school are seeking to appoint a classroom teacher who is enthusiastic, hardworking, experienced and dedicated and who can work within a team situation. The successful candidate will be required to deliver consistently high quality teaching in a year 5/6 classroom environment. The position will be fixed term but may be extended depending on the outcome of the appointment of a new headteacher. The curriculum portfolio responsibility will be negotiated as the priority is to appoint a quality teacher who can help realise the high expectations of the school and the pupils.
