St. Augustine’s RC Primary School is a high performing school which lies at the heart of St. Mary’s RC Cathedral Parish. We provide a caring, Catholic ethos for our children and, in this, the school enjoys support from the Church and wider community. The school is situated in a pleasant environment and has well-established links with parents, governors, staff and Parish.

The governors wish to appoint an outstanding, enthusiastic and dedicated teacher to join our school from September 2018.

The successful candidate will:

- Be an excellent classroom practitioner;
- Have high expectations of pupils’ achievement and behaviour;
- Be fully committed to upholding and promoting the Catholic ethos of the school in all aspects;
- Be an excellent communicator, with good organisational and interpersonal skills;
- Be determined to enable children to fulfil their potential.
- Set clear targets for pupils’ learning, building on prior attainment.
- Be able to effectively lead a curriculum area (experienced teacher).
