With clients across the UK, we reinvest all the surplus from our commercial services which include NFS, Palatine Beds, and Ostara back into services for our customers.

We want to grow our commercial service offer, to develop new internal and external commercial services which is why we are seeking two Commercial Solutions Coordinators (one permanent and one temporary post). These positions are well suited to individuals who are looking to develop their career in a commercial environment and gain hands-on experience in a thriving and supportive workplace.

The role will be varied including commercial development, service improvement and innovation. Key tasks include –
• Coordination and administration support of bid portals and tender management processes
• Working collaboratively with colleagues across YHN service areas to develop new commercial services adhering to agreed processes and producing business cases
• Monitoring and delivery of associated actions for the commercial contracts register
• Coordinating the client, customer and stakeholder feedback framework
• Undertaking research, market intelligence, insight, analysis and horizon scanning
• Coordinating commercial services audits and accreditations, compilation and implementation of associated actions
• Performance data analysis and reporting
• Liaising with stakeholders.

Based within YHNs commercial solutions team, you will work closely with the wider commercial team including operations and sales and other services across YHN to achieve agreed growth targets. You will report to the Commercial Solutions Manager, contracted to 37 hours per week with flexible working, generous annual leave allowance, local government pension scheme and access to extensive learning and development opportunities

The Person:
The successful candidate will be highly organised with demonstrable experience of carrying out research and coordinating tasks in accordance within agreed processes. The person will be able to produce performance reports and use insight and analysis gathered to support decision making.

You will have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to confidently work to all levels within the business and a wide range of audiences. You will be passionate about working collaboratively with colleagues, stakeholders and suppliers to deliver commercial targets.
