An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Adults Commissioning & Quality Assurance Team as a lead commissioner working on a portfolio of commissioning and projects.
You will bring your knowledge of Adult’s Commissioning and take a lead on the commissioning and contract management for adult’s provision.
You will be passionate about driving forward timely delivery of national and RCBC objectives for priorities for Adults.

You will be instrumental in ensuring that our services maximise opportunities for independence and recovery, are safe and take account of the strengths and assets of adults with care and support needs and their carers.
You will need extensive knowledge of commissioning including procurement and have a good knowledge of adult social care services. You will have widespread experience of working as a strong commissioner including contract management and be able to work collaboratively and in partnership with stakeholders and across agencies to deliver improved outcomes for adults.
The ability to challenge and deliver change will be essential within the role in order to create flexible responses to meet changing need within the borough.
You will have an excellent understanding of dealing with and analysing information whilst under pressure, and effectively communicating this information to others. It is key that you have experience of writing and presenting reports to inform others about relevant issues and recommendations about appropriate future action.

This will ensure effective leadership; motivating and developing staff within the team to ensure organisational objectives are met and commissioning strategies are implemented effectively.
