Salary: Grade 12 £35,229 – £39,002 p.a.

Applications are invited for the above temporary positions within the Adults and Health Commissioning Service, based at County Hall, Durham.

The post holders will take a lead role in, and/or contribute to specific project management in the commissioning of services for adults, which may include older people, those with physical disabilities, people with learning disabilities, mental health needs and/or autism.

Key areas of work will include involvement in all aspects of the commissioning cycle, in particular strategic planning, consultation, design, delivery and commissioning activity including joint commissioning with other partners where appropriate.

A knowledge of relevant service area and/or experience of the commissioning and procurement of social care services, including relevant policy and legislation, would be advantageous. Skills and experience of project/change management will be beneficial

Required Qualifications:
Degree or recognised professional qualification in social care/health/housing/social policy/research/management/education.
