An opportunity has arisen for a Community Development Officer (30 hours a week) to work on an 18 month project to support groups and volunteers in the Allen Valleys.

Your job will be to ensure that a number of social enterprises and community organisations with a responsibility for heritage management in the Allen Valleys increase their resilience through your effective support and the effective management of an HLF funded Resilient Heritage grant.

Applicants should hold a degree or equivalent together with significant experience of successful working on natural or cultural heritage projects. Applicants should be well organised, and have significant experience of working with volunteers, with community organisations and a variety of other partners on partnership projects.

Interviews are scheduled to be held on 12th December 2018 in the North Pennines AONB Partnership’s offices in Stanhope.
