We are looking for a motivated individual to work within a small team dedicated to improving the lives of individuals with substance misuse and their families.

Core duties associated with this role consist of developing effective partnerships with community based services and businesses and supporting them in engaging clients ensuring active integration outside of substance misuse services.

Developing positive relationships with fundholders, businesses and education and training providers. The workload will be varied, involving bidding for external funding to provide bespoke training and development opportunities for service users resulting in an excellent opportunity for personal development.

You should have knowledge and experience of substance misuse issues within the community and an aptitude for promoting positive re-integration.
You should demonstrate an understanding of the issues faced by families affected by substance misuse.

You will have the skills to ensure that service users’ personal strengths, social networks and recovery capital (social, physical, human and cultural) are built and developed through effective support in community settings.

You will have experience of negotiating and bidding for external funding.
You should be motivated and committed to work within a team to provide a consistent high quality service to customers. You must possess excellent communication skills and pro-active problem solving abilities, whilst also promoting community inclusion.
