An opportunity has arisen to appoint a Community Economic Development Officer temporarily until 26th April 2019 to deliver change across our priority communities. The position is for 18.5 hours per week.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying area specific economic opportunities, particularly within our town / retail centres. Following this with developing and delivery of projects, including physical renewal interventions.

The successful candidate will have strong demonstrable Project Management skills and will need to work collaboratively with internal teams and external organisations to ensure effective project delivery.

Candidates will be educated to degree level in a relevant field and have experience of working with the retail sector and/or small businesses in an advisory capacity.

Interviews are scheduled to be held on Wednesday 24th October 2018.
