Northern Education Trust (NET) is a charitable education Trust with a good track record for school improvement. The Trust sponsors 30 academies; 17 secondary and 13 primaries across the North of England in fourteen Local Authority regions.

Northern Education Trust is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced candidate to join us as a compliance and GDPR assistant.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative and technical support to both the compliance officer and data protection officer in matters relating to compliance and GDPR. You will provide support to ensure the trust remains compliant with all statutory and legislative requirements.

You will assist in carrying out internal compliance checks and supporting in the process of providing responses to subject access and freedom of information requests.

The successful candidate will hold both Maths and English GCSE at Grade C (or equivalent) or above and hold or be working towards a level 3 qualification in a relevant discipline.

You must possess excellent communication and organisational skills, enabling you to build effective working relationships with colleagues at all levels. Essential requirements for this role include; proven experience in report writing and the professional presentation of information. The ability to work accurately and autonomously, delivering results even under pressure and on your own initiative is also a key requirement.
