Middlesbrough College are looking to appoint a Construction Technician on a full time, permanent basis.
The successful candidate will work to provide a day to day service to Teaching Staff and instructor demonstrators in the following areas; Brickwork, Multi Skills, Outside Building Yard, Painting & Decorating.
As well as setting up and preparing workshops and/or other equipment, assisting teaching staff with materials during practical lessons and demonstrations, maintaining the cleanliness of the workshops, equipment, tools, storage cupboards, etc and assist in maintaining stocks of consumables and ordering new stock when necessary.
The ideal candidate will have a vocational industrial qualification in an appropriate subject, a relevant Health & Safety qualification, good knowledge of risk assessments and safe working practices and current and relevant work experience in a workshop/stores environment. A NEBOSH certificate is desirable.
