Do you have a passion for making a difference and improving public health outcomes and want to work in a truly collaborative, innovative and passionate public health team, then this is the role for you, We have an exciting opportunity for you to join a Joint Public Health service that is committed to delivering better outcomes for the people of Middlesbrough and Redcar and Cleveland.

The Joint Public Health service between Middlesbrough Council and Redcar and Cleveland Bough Council, is the first of its kind in the North East region and has the ambition of becoming a centre of public health excellence regionally and nationally. Already there are a number of exciting innovative programmes underway with more in the pipeline. We are looking for two exceptional and passionate individuals to join the joint public health service to drive forward the ambition for achieving longer and healthier lives for the South Tees population. You will need to provide strong leadership across Public Health and will play a critical role in the development and delivery of plans across both Councils and our partners. You must be able to demonstrate excellent partnership working, influencing and technical skills, and a commitment to improving population health outcomes.

You must be able to keep a clear focus on results, be a creative thinker and have a passion for success. You will be part of a strong and passionate multi-disciplinary public health team who have the aim of improving health and well-being and reducing health for our local populations.
