An exciting opportunity for those seeking a career in Catering has arisen within Hartlepool Borough council. We are looking to appoint a Cook Supervisor in a busy Secondary school within Hartlepool who has a passion to deliver good quality home cooked foods, with attention to detail, that meets the needs of the customer. Quality standards and excellent customer care are the core values of the School Catering service.

Applicants should have a passion for Food, have creative initiative and seek continuous improvement in the whole service delivery.

Main duties will include:

The Preparation and serving of food to Secondary school pupils to ensure an excellent customer service experience.

Planning and ordering of food to meet the requirements of the menu.

Knowledge of the School Food Plan and the Safer food better Business book is essential to this role.

The Cook Supervisor will be responsible for the Organisation & Supervision of staff ensuring standards are met in relation to the requirements of Food Related Legislation and the Health & Safety at Work Act. Liaison with Managers and day to day contact with school staff and pupils is expected.
