Further Information
Tyne Housing has ambitious plans to grow all aspects of business, both in the housing association and in our charitable subsidiary, Ouseburn Farm Charity Ltd. - a registered charity that provides a community-spirited place where learning, enrichment and personal growth are offered freely to whoever needs it

With a working community farm and cafe and a carpentry and upcycling workshop, all offering training and education opportunities for local people, the charity is an exciting and diverse place to work. We are now seeking an exceptional candidate to work alongside our existing Community and Events Fundraiser with the goal of generating unrestricted income to support the charity’s operations, with a focus on corporate sponsorship fundraising. A key element of the role will involve creating new partnerships with potential sponsors and providing stewardship for existing relationships.

The ideal candidate will have a demonstrable track record in generating income through corporate partnerships and sponsorship, with at least 12 months’ relevant experience. An understanding of compliance and best practice related to fundraising, along with strong communication, negotiation and organisational skills are essential. A flexible ‘can do’ attitude and the ability to enthuse and motivate others is a must.

In return we can offer a truly unique work environment, with 136 hours’ annual leave (including bank holidays as they arise), a paid day off for your birthday and a generous company pension scheme. Our aim is to make a difference to people’s lives and support them to be the best they can be. If you feel you can make a difference, we want to hear from you.

Closing date for applications is Friday 8th February 2019

Interviews will take place w/c 11th February in Newcastle-upon-Tyne
