Durham Music Service is seeking to increase its pool of casual/cover pool teachers. Durham Music Service is the lead partner in the Music Education Hub for County Durham and Darlington.

We are looking for people able to teach vocal or instrumental lessons (woodwind, brass, strings, percussion, guitar/ukulele or piano) or to join our work in Early Years and Foundation Stage. Applicants who can offer curriculum music at Key Stage 1 or 2 and ukulele, recorder, singing for whole classes are particularly welcome.

Required qualifications: Grade 8 music performance qualification, Level 4 qualification in relation to Early Years teaching, or equivalent.

The successful applicant for this post will be required to apply for a Disclosure & Barring Service Enhanced Disclosure.
