A position has arisen for a craft assistant within BCE Stores section.
You will require HGV Class 2 (Cat C) licence with lorry loader certification, the role will be to operate a Lorry Mounted Loader delivering and collecting pallets of materials, mortar and skips from various sites across the city and be responsible for the appropriate disposal of scrap and waste materials.
Duties will also include a range of stores related activities including the receipting and issuing of materials, loading and unloading vehicles, assisting with material audits and general stores management and housekeeping tasks.
You will be required to undertake training to achieve additional bolt on skills, for example, fork lift driving.
