Customer Services Officer

1x PART-TIME 30HRS TEMPORARY UNTIL 31/12/2020

Job Location: Seaham

Salary: £20,541 – £23,111p.a. (pro rata for part-time) Grade 6

VACANCY NO: AHS/18/331A

Applicants are invited to apply for the above vacancy based within the Social Care Direct (Adults) team.

The role of the Social Care Direct is to resolve, re-direct or take appropriate referrals.

You will provide a first point of contact for customer access to public services by all access channels.

You will act as customer champion between the customer and the service providers dealing with enquiries and service requests at first point of contact.

Applicants should have experience in a customer services environment, excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.

They should be confident in dealing with other professionals both internal and external and members of the public.

Required Qualifications: 4 GCSEs inc English Language (Grades A-C) or equivalent.

It is anticipated that interviews will be held week commencing 11/2/2019.
