We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, self-motivated and flexible individual, to work alongside the new Football Academy Director as an Assistant Coach. As well as coaching the team, you will be expected to support the Football Academy Director in the strategic and operational management of the Post 16 Football Academy based here at the school. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team of staff in an outstanding school.
The successful candidate will need outstanding interpersonal skills and will work closely with students and their parents, and the Football Academy Director to maintain and further develop the nationally acclaimed reputation that the school’s Football Academy has built up over the last 10 years. You will also work closely with the Sixth Form Pastoral and Teaching staff to support football students in achieving their very best academically, as well as on the football field.
The successful candidate will need to currently hold a minimum of a UEFA B Coaching Licence. Additional FA Youth Module qualifications would also be desirable, along with relevant previous experience of working with players in the 16-19 age range.
