Following the retirement of the present post-holder, the Governors of our happy and successful school are seeking to appoint a dynamic individual who is competent, self-motivated, flexible and full of initiative. A commitment to high standards and the ability to work unsupervised are essential. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join our enthusiastic and proactive team and a thriving school community.

Duties will include:
- Opening and closing of the school each day with the possibility of some evening and weekend lettings.
- Maintenance of a safe and secure site
- General day to day maintenance and repairs

We are looking for someone with:
- Enthusiasm for maintaining our school environment to a high standard to support children’s learning;
- A firm understanding of, and compliance with, safeguarding requirements;
- An ability to work effectively as part of a team that looks after the safety and welfare of the site;
- An ability to work from their own initiative in recognising jobs that require attention and prioritising their daily workload;
- Health and Safety awareness;
- The ability to undertake some heavy lifting, moving and handling;
- An understanding of the responsibility around the security of the school site;
- ICT skills;
- A willingness to participate in training and development;
- An ability to maintain and develop our school grounds.

Hours of work (split shift):
• Mornings 7.00am -11.00am
• Afternoons: Monday – Thursday 2:35pm – 6pm and Friday 2:40pm – 6pm.
